Log Bridge Creek to Four Trees Road
The six-metre-high rock formation of Pompey Pillar is a dramatic landmark on the hike from Log Bridge Creek road to Four Trees Road. The Track is a mixture of fire trail and single track, with the single track following the different valleys of the two creek lines. It is a very interesting section with a variety of scenery and topography.

Walking notes
The Track follows along the edge of pine forest from Log Bridge Creek Road before entering native forest and following the southern side of the rocky Millers Creek valley. It then crosses over into the Pompey Pillar Creek valley which is generally shaded and cool. There is a long climb out of the valley back up onto fire trail once more before a steep descent down to Four Trees Road on single track.
How to access the track
Log Bridge Creek Road / accesses the Track just south of Log Bridge Creek campsite. Turn right off Wee Jasper Forest Road onto Log Bridge Creek Road, and follow it until the end and it will intersect the Hume and Hovell Track.
Four Trees Road / provides good all weather access to the track off Wee Jasper Forest Road. Turn right onto Four Trees Road off Wee Jasper Forest Road and follow down the hill until just before the Micalong Station locked gates where the Hume and Hovell Track crosses Four Trees Road.
