Home to fascinating naval heritage and exciting outdoor adventure, Holbrook is a great stopover on the main inland Melbourne to Sydney driving route and is close to the magnificent Woomargama National Park.

If you are lucky enough to be in Woomargama National Park, there are plenty of camping options, however sometimes it is nice to head to the nearest town. Holbrook is quaint and has some enjoyable places to stay or Woomargama has a few more options.

Book a guided bush walk across Table Top mountain, picnic at Morgan’s Lookout, step foot on the HMAS Otways and visit the bustling stores that line the streets.
Holbrook offers some great history, you can drop in to the Holbrook Submarine Museum, National Museum of Australian Pottery and Woolpack Inn Museum.
Lake Hume sits within the Greater Hume shire and is a beautiful place to go for a swim or to enjoy some sightseeing.
