Glider Country

The Albury Conservation Company was established to help protect and enhance the natural environment of Thurgoona. Since 2006, the company has worked to raise community awareness and engage locals in protecting biodiversity for future generations.

Co-ordinator Sam Niedra is especially passionate about the threatened species that live in the area, and how to ensure those populations survive in this era of urban expansion.

We interviewed Sam on one of his favourite local sites; Bell’s Travelling Stock Reserve.
