The Bush Stone Curlew Project
Jan and Neville Lubke have a long family history in this area, and have seen the environment change dramatically as the land is further and further divided.
Some years ago Jan and Neville developed a passion for restoring the habitat and population of the endangered Bush Stone Curlew, and pioneered a remarkable Bush Stone Curlew breeding program to make that vision a reality.
This is their story.
Parklands gratefully acknowledge the support of the NSW Government, through the NSW Office of Environment and Heritage and the Heritage Council NSW, to make these Hume and Hovell Track stories.
