FCNSW Blowering Foreshore Planned Burn

Forestry Corporation NSW is planning to burn pine debris along Blowering Dam foreshore during the week commencing 20th May 2024, if weather permits. A section of the burn boundary is along Foreshore Rd just north of the intersection of Blowering Camp Rd on the Hume and Hovell Track.

The road is not planned to be closed, however there will be a significant amount of smoke in the area and windrows close to the road will be burning for a few hours.

Forestry have advised that signage will be in place on the walking track with a phone number for trail users to get in contact with operations personnel if there are any concerns.

For further information or enquiries specific to this work please contact Tim Wall on 0439 428 514

Please note: the Hume & Hovell Track passes through numerous land tenures which means access and management may be impacted by the governing body. This includes chemical usage, harvesting operations, road works and other maintenance.
